A Year of Plenty Project

I've been reading about minimalism, craving simplicity.  I've also been wanting to be more fisically and physically responsible.  I have enough and to spare, but need to manage it better, to be a better steward of the temporal blessings Heavenly Father has given me.

So as my 32nd birthday approaches, I want to dedicate the next year as a Year of Plenty.   A year of focusing on what matters most, instead of letting myself continue to be distracted by things that don't matter.

Here (mission style!:) are my vision, goals and methods for this coming year.

VISION:  Become a good steward (provident provider) fiscally and physically.

METAS: (by August 7, 2014)
Consistently debt-free besides the mortgage, and paying a lot more on that. (Also improving said house:)
Healthy (body and mind)
Minimalist

MEDIOS:
Debt-free: Dave Ramsey's Total Money Make Over
Healthy: cardio 30 minutes/day; essentrics 6/week, Eat to Live (as much as is politely possible), therapy as needed.
Minimalist: Get rid of 10 things/month (books, clothes, tools, etc. Anything that I don't need...this medio may get more specific as I progress in this).

Remind myself:  I can't afford it.  OR I can afford it, but I don't need it, or even really want it.

ACCOUNTABILITY:
At least monthly blog entries about how I've progressed in my three focus areas.

Here's to a year of plenty!
